چکیده
Abstract In recent years, Virtual Reality (VR) has become a valuable tool in rehabilitation and sports training applications. New technologies offer opportunities to combine various systems use them for sports-related scientific purposes. For instance, examining the visual perception of athletes within standardized environment could be helpful understand differences between novices experts their behavior further reveal possible applications enhancing athletes’ attention. The current systematic literature review thematizes importance eye-tracking (ET) systems’ usage integrated into head-mounted displays (HMDs) virtual environments inclusion usage. An overview implementations is given, additional recommendations using combined technic regarding are made. Although only one study examined gaze during activity environment, 38 relevant papers were identified ET HMDs, which ideas can transferred sector. increased usability fidelity enabled through technology illustrated, different approaches listed calculating parameters. This examines possibility integrating VR, used improve usability, interaction methods, image presentation, analyses future physical scenarios. compiled studies have shown that existing methods feasible due performance but still need improved practical use.

Combined Head - Eye Tracking for Immersive Virtual Reality
Real-time gaze tracking is a promising interaction technique for virtual environments. Immersive projection-based virtual reality systems such as the CAVE allow users a wide range of natural movements. Unfortunately, most head and eye movement measurement techniques are of limited use during free head and body motion. An improved head-eye tracking system is proposed and developed for use in imm...

As an emerging product of highly developed modern computer technology, virtual reality technology has drawn great attention from the society since its date of birth. Within just a few decades, tremendous progress has been made. It has gradually turned into a new field of science, and been extensively utilized in various fields including military, entertainment, gaming, medical, remote control r...
متن کاملTowards Gaze Interaction in Immersive Virtual Reality: Evaluation of a Monocular Eye Tracking Set-Up
Of all senses, it is visual perception that is predominantly deluded in Virtual Realities. Yet, the eyes of the observer, despite the fact that they are the fastest perceivable moving body part, have gotten relatively little attention as an interaction modality. A solid integration of gaze, however, provides great opportunities for implicit and explicit humancomputer interaction. We present our...
متن کاملSystematic distortions of perceptual stability investigated using immersive virtual reality
Using an immersive virtual reality system, we measured the ability of observers to detect the rotation of an object when its movement was yoked to the observer's own translation. Most subjects had a large bias such that a static object appeared to rotate away from them as they moved. Thresholds for detecting target rotation were similar to those for an equivalent speed discrimination task carri...
متن کاملInteraction with virtual crowd in Immersive and semi-Immersive Virtual Reality systems
This study examines attributes of virtual human behavior that may increase the plausibility of a simulated crowd and affect the user’s experience in Virtual Reality. Purpose-developed experiments in both Immersive and semi-Immersive Virtual Reality systems queried the impact of collision and basic interaction between real-users and the virtual crowd and their effect on the apparent realism and ...
